1. Sensation is what you sense with your 5 senses: hear, see, smell, touch, and taste. Perception is how you interprate what you sense. Like tasting a lemon, you perceive it to be sower, but not everyone have the same perception, because someone else, like me, will not think it is sower but watery.
2. The best thing I read in this chapter is the infants on the Visual Cliff. It is interesting that they know depth perception and know that the floor is lover on the other side. It doesn't change the way I think about anything. It applies by knowing that at the infant stage you can develop enough and learn to know depth perception.
3. Even 24,576 Measurements Couldn't Prove Plants Have Souls- Gustuv Fechner wanted to prove that plants had souls. He did experiments to measure the relationship between stimulus and the resulting sensations. In one experiment he took 24,576 measurement and then wrote a book to help his progress.
It is interesting to know if plants have souls or not. If anyone had a spirt inside their body is beyond me. I changes but wonder if they do or don't. It applies by some people with not eat plants anymore because they would not want to kill anything with a soul.

1. I learned that it is hard life back then, but you didn't need a high school degree to get a good job. I was surprised that it is expected for men to go to work right after their 8th grade year. My life you are expected to go through school until you graduate from college in order to get a good job. I would not because I believe that school is a very important part of life and I would not want to work so hard for so little return.
2.I thought that the video showed a good representation of parenting and adolescence. My adolescent years are stress full and full of confusion. I think that these years of adolescents is important, by experience, to learn and to shape you future life.
3. I learned in chapter 4 is that cultural differences are a lot different than I thought. The fact that it is alright for men in Arab to greet each other with a kiss. I find it oddly weird, but what we do is weird to them.
4. The most surprising thing that I read from chapter 5 is that babies are born legally blind. A baby go through motor stages also from sit to crawl to walk to run. Babies learn fast and realize different things by the age of 3 months.

The most interesting thing that I learned in this chapter is that the Olson twins are in identical but in fact fraternal twins. I always thought that they looked identical but I guess I was mistaken. I use to watch them all the time and was not able to tell the difference between the two. I also found that the more enriched a rats environment is the better the brain cell grow and enrich themselves. Comparing to a non enriched rat; the enriched rat seem to have a heavier and thicker brain cortex. With that they are able to solve more thought out situations and learn. The last thing that really interested me was the gender aggression. Men admit to be more aggressive than women and through many experiences they are more likely to be a physical aggressor and a firm believer in their own thoughts and ideas. I believe this is true in most cases but not all. I find that in today's socitiy men are becoming less aggressive and women are becoming more aggressive because of the equallity the socitiy has today.

Teen and Sleeping is the most interesting to me. The fact that teen need 9 hours of sleep amazes me. I only get 8 and i feel fine in the morning and I am not tired, but like the article states technology gets in the way of teens sleeping. I know that last night I didn't get to bed untill 11 because I was chating with my friends that I don't see everyday. I strongely disagree with the studies that you need 9 hours of sleep. I don't get drowsy during class and I am able to learn at full capatcity. I am usually in bed by 10 and I get up at 6 which is 8 hours.
